Eparchial Curia

The Eparchial Curia is an administrative office that is found in every Eparchy. It consists of the chief officials of the Eparchy. These officials assist the Eparchial Bishop in governing the Church. The Eparchial Curia includes:

  • Proto Synkellos (Vicar General)
  • Chancellor
  • Synkelli (Episcopal Vicars)
  • Director of Caritas
  • Presbyteral Council and College of Consultors
  • Financial Council
  • Pastoral Council

On 12 July 2021, the feast of Saints Peter and Paul in the Julian Calendar, Bishop Mykola Bychok was enthroned as the third bishop of the Eparchy of Sts Peter and Paul of Melbourne.
