Multicultural Mass in Brisbane
August 27, 2025
On Sunday, 24 August, the Archdiocese of Brisbane celebrated its annual Multicultural Mass, dedicated to the World Day of Migrants and Refugees, whose theme this year was “Migrants, missionaries of hope.”

The Divine Liturgy at the Queen of Vietnamese Martyrs Catholic Church was presided over by Archbishop Mark Coleridge and concelebrated by priests who minister to the various cultural and national communities of the Archdiocese.
Representatives of the Ukrainian Catholic Parish of the Protection of the Mother of God in Brisbane also took an active part in the celebration. Fr Martin Arnold concelebrated at the Liturgy, while members of the Ukrainian community contributed to the liturgical service, including reading the Prayer of the Faithful in Ukrainian.
Organisers encouraged all participants to attend in traditional dress as a visible sign of the unity and beauty of the multicultural Catholic community in Brisbane.
